A former Head of Technology Innovation at Royal Bank of Scotland, David has been working at the cutting edge of FinTech and AI technologies for 15 years. Having started his journey in technology at one of the world's largest outsourcing companies. In 2001 he transitioned to the Royal Bank of Scotland Financial Markets Division. Having undertaken a number of delivery roles, he became Head of Technology Innovation focusing on breakthrough technologies that were revolutionizing Financial Services. In 2009, he founded Kusiri, providing banks with an advanced forensic investigation platform (real-time KYC) which was acquired by PwC. He then also founded Import.io, a machine intelligence platform that reads the web to extract clean datasets. As CEO of import.io, David raised $20M from industry elites such as the MySQL founders and the co-founder of Yahoo Jerry Yang. David left import.io in 2016 and took some time to renovate his property in Italy while learning about the token economy, and is now building Keybox with Fintech Industry leader Eric Van der Kleij.
